This Terms of Service (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of the Master Chi platform (“Platform”) as a Tutor. By registering as a tutor on the Platform, you agree to these terms.
You must meet the platform’s academic and professional requirements, and complete a verification process which includes training, ID validation, and profile review. Falsifying information during onboarding may result in immediate termination.
Tutors may be assigned for part-time or full-time roles based on availability and fit. You will receive teaching assignments through the Platform and are expected to carry out duties professionally and punctually.
All payments are processed by Master Chi on a monthly basis and are subject to the school's offer per assignment. You agree that healthcare costs (see section 6) will be deducted from your monthly earnings.
Tutors must uphold professional and ethical standards. Any misconduct, absenteeism, falsification, or actions deemed to jeopardize the platform's integrity, as reported by schools or determined by Master Chi, may result in termination without compensation for that month.
All active tutors are enrolled under Panda Health Policy Limited. This individual coverage is paid by Master Chi but deducted from your salary monthly. Coverage ends upon disengagement from the platform.
If a tutor unilaterally leaves a school without notice or platform approval, payment for that assignment month will be forfeited. Master Chi reserves the right to reassign tutors or revoke assignments at any time for performance or compliance reasons.
Tutors retain ownership of lesson materials and content they create. However, Master Chi may use anonymized summaries or examples for promotional and quality assurance purposes.
Tutors will have access only to student names for class-related functions such as grading and attendance. Tutors must not collect or retain student data outside the Platform. Breach of this rule will lead to sanctions.
Tutors are strictly prohibited from engaging or negotiating with schools registered under Master Chi outside the Platform. Any attempt to bypass the platform may result in legal action, immediate removal, and forfeiture of future assignments.
This Agreement may be terminated by Master Chi at any time for non-compliance, misconduct, or breach of terms. Tutors may also terminate their engagement with written notice. Unjustified early exits may lead to payment forfeiture.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
